GRE Coaching Exam Preparation

Overview: GRE coaching for MS, PhD and scholarships

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a widely accepted entrance test for master’s and PhD programmes, especially in the USA and Canada, and for many universities across Europe and other study destinations. In Ahmedabad, GRE is most commonly taken by students planning MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, and other STEM programmes, as well as students aiming for research-focused degrees.
The GRE is not only about English and maths. It is a skills test that measures how well you can read academic content, reason with data, and solve problems under time pressure. Strong GRE scores can support admissions, scholarships, and assistantship opportunities depending on the university and programme.
At Access Global, our GRE coaching in Ahmedabad is built for Indian learners. We teach concepts clearly, improve accuracy and speed, and help you build a realistic score plan based on your target universities and deadlines.

GRE Exam Pattern (Shorter GRE): sections, time and scoring

The GRE General Test is now shorter. ETS states the overall test time is about 1 hour and 58 minutes, with five sections: one Analytical Writing task, two Verbal Reasoning sections, and two Quantitative Reasoning sections. The Analytical Writing section is always first.
Verbal Reasoning in the shorter GRE has 27 questions across two sections, and Quantitative Reasoning also has 27 questions across two sections, with timings set by ETS for each section.
GRE Verbal and Quant scores are reported on a 130–170 scale (one-point increments). Analytical Writing is scored 0–6 (half-point increments). Knowing score ranges early helps you set a sensible target score.

Who should take GRE in 2025–2026?

GRE is best suited for students applying to universities where GRE is required or recommended, or where a strong score can strengthen an application. If your profile has gaps—such as a lower GPA, a change of stream, or limited research exposure—a good GRE score may help demonstrate academic readiness.
Many universities have moved to test-optional policies for some programmes, so the right approach is strategic. We help students shortlist programmes and decide whether GRE adds value, instead of taking the exam just because others are taking it.
If you are applying for competitive scholarships, research programmes, or STEM courses where quant strength matters, GRE can still be an important differentiator.

Our GRE coaching in Ahmedabad

What you get (classroom + online)

Our GRE preparation includes concept-building, strategy sessions, topic-wise practice, and full-length mock tests. We focus on eliminating common errors such as careless mistakes in quant, weak reading comprehension habits, and inconsistent timing.
Students get a structured weekly plan, a clear topic progression, and a doubt-solving mechanism so they never feel stuck. If you are balancing college, work, or other test preparation, we help you build a schedule that is realistic and sustainable.
We offer both classroom coaching in Ahmedabad and live online GRE classes, so students can choose what fits their routine. The teaching approach remains the same: clarity first, then practice, then performance under exam conditions.

GRE Quantitative Reasoning

How we help you score higher

In GRE Quant, a strong score comes from conceptual clarity plus speed. Our coaching covers arithmetic, algebra, geometry, coordinate geometry, data interpretation, probability, and word problems with a focus on the patterns the GRE repeatedly tests.
We train students to use smart approaches such as estimation, back-solving, picking numbers, and avoiding time traps. These methods are particularly useful when questions look easy but are designed to waste time.
We also run timed quant drills to build pacing, and we review mistakes carefully so you don’t repeat the same error in the actual exam.

GRE Verbal Reasoning

RC, Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence

GRE Verbal is often challenging because it tests logic, structure, and meaning rather than basic vocabulary. Our GRE verbal coaching focuses on reading comprehension strategies, sentence structure, and how to predict answers before looking at options.
For Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence, we teach you to identify clues, handle contrast and continuation signals, and avoid attractive but incorrect choices. Vocabulary is important, but strategy is what converts vocabulary into marks.
You also get an organised vocabulary plan so you learn high-frequency GRE words in a way that improves retention and usage, not just memorisation.

GRE Analytical Writing

Issue task and how to score better

In the shorter GRE, Analytical Writing includes one ‘Analyze an Issue’ task.

We help you write clearly, logically, and fast. Our approach focuses on structure (intro, two to three body paragraphs, conclusion), idea generation, and using examples that feel natural and relevant.
Students receive personalised feedback on essays so improvements are measurable across practice submissions.

Study plan, timelines and batches (Ahmedabad-focused)

Most students in Ahmedabad prepare for GRE in 6 to 10 weeks if they have a strong base and can study consistently. If you want a higher score jump or need more vocabulary and reading work, a 10 to 14 week plan is often more realistic.
We offer weekday and weekend batches and can create a personalised plan for college students, working professionals, and students preparing alongside IELTS/TOEFL/PTE.
Before you join, we recommend a short diagnostic to estimate your current level and define a target score based on your university shortlist.
